Last October, I finally made my way to Washington DC to see various monuments, including the White House, Korean and Vietnam memorial, National Museum of African American History and Culture( tons of pics and worth the visit) and of course the MLK monument.
At MLK’s monument, there are some famous quotes of his that reflect his teachings and his life. Below are a couple of quotes from Dr. King that resonate with me and touch on his spirit. Enjoy, reflect and reclaim Dr. King’s legacy today. We have a huge battle ahead of us, a battle for our rights and freedoms as citizens in this new America we will be entering into on January 20th.
