“But I Want A Pony” Bitchassness Comments of the Week

So Ezra Klein pens yet another emoprog whinecolumn – trust, if you’ve read one, you’ve read them all.

TRANSLATION: Obama got health care, financial regulations and got Bin Laden, but he didn’t make me feel good while doing it.

What a nation of idiots, whingers and cry-babies. It is not President Obama’s fault that his enemies are jerks.

He always reminded folks that he needed their help, and they let him down.End of.

For a guy that has kept 60 percent of his campaign promises, the quibbling by Ezra is just so much poutrage nonsense. He alone was not gonna ‘change Washington’ and anyone that says so, did not listen to his speeches nor read his books.

I am really weary of these fucking white liberals, and will be done completely with national politics after PBO’s second term.

ETA: How is changing policy not ‘changing Washington’ since our nations capital is all about policy? Ezra has no answer for this, but perfers pearl-cluctching instead

We’ve BEEN Making A Dollar Outta 15 Cents Comments of the Week

Dr. Oz, Brian Williams, Time Magazine, and more….all highlighting the “new faces of poverty” these last couple of weeks. umph.

When black people are hungry and struggling, they’re lazy, shiftless, thieving bums!

When white people are hungry and struggling…why (gasp!) it’s an American tragedy (sob!)…can…can ANYTHING be done (wail!)?

Black: theft.

White: survival.

I just have a feeling that there is a conscious effort to highlight this newfound spread of poverty into surbubia and lay the complete blame at the Black guy in office…..the message is “see, this is what happens when one of them runs the country.” Even though where this country is today was DECADES in th emaking.

On Dr Oz’s show, he even said in one segment that as opposed to the traditional poverty stricken areas like inner cities which are “used” to programs like food stamps etc. , the suburbs have just not been prepared in the same way and that what makes this so devastating. I was flabbergasted.

I just want to stay compassionate to everyone..but with this so-called new enlightenment about poverty, food stamps, police brutality and inequality in certain segments of the population, it almost makes me cynical to some of them. They can’t be fuckin serious? 

So “Occupy”, let me get this straight,….

John Lewis, Black Civil Rights icon, Wallenburg Medal recipient, and
champion of civil and human rights all over the world……..is not allowed to speak AT your events…

but

Glenn Greenwald, Libertarian who lives part time in Brazil, and who infamously defended White Supremacist Matthew Hale…..is allowed to speak FOR the movement?

…and you wonder why you have trouble attracting African Americans?

Exactly! May be it’s just me, but I see this OWS, and its offshoots in the other occupy whatever, as mainly a theatrical event. I’ve said before and I will say again: OWS is all about copying what took place in Tunisia and Egypt. Unfortunately for the OWS, the United States is not a replica of Egypt and Tunisia; no matter how much some in OWS insist on finding similarities. One of the mind boggling thing about OWS is the claim that the movement is non-partisan. Yet, the “emoprogs,” who are the most vocal supporters, spent three years attacking and demonizing President Obama for trying to promote and encourage non-partisanship in an efforts to find real solutions to our problems. 

I MEAN IF THIS GUY CAN’T GET WORKING CLASS VOTES, THE LUNCHBUCKET CROWD, THE BLUE CLASS WHITE PEOPLE WHO BOWL AND DRINK BEER AND EAT HOT DOGS AND BEANS, I MEAN IF THIS GUY OBAMA CAN’T APPEAL TO THE SALT OF THE EARTH WHITE PEOPLE, WHO PUNCH A TIME CARD AND DRIVE A BEAT UP CHEVY WITH MISMATCHING DOORS…I MEAN IF THIS GUY CAN’T RELATE TO THE ARCHIE BUNKER CROWD WHO JUST WANT TO MAKE A COUPLE OF DOLLARS TO PUT FOOD ON THE TABLE FOR THEIR FAMILY…IF THIS GUY CAN’T RELATE TO WHITE AMERICANS, WHO CAN HE RELATE TO? JFK KNEW HOW TO RELATE TO THEM AND I’M AFRAID THIS GUY OBAMA JUST DOESN’T GET IT. —Chris Matthews’ next diatribe
