Time To Show Some People Power And Donate To The Obama Campaign News: American Crossroads, the Republican “super” political committee that plans to play a major role in this year’s presidential campaign, raised more than $51 million along with its nonprofit arm last year, The Associated Press has learned. The figures from Crossroads — the group backed by former George W. Bush adviser Karl Rove — were among the first financial reports being made public Tuesday, the deadline for super PACs and presidential candidates to file financial reports with federal election officials. I Hope Newt Stays In This Race For The Long Haul News: Florida’s nasty primary race didn’t get any nicer as the votes were being cast Tuesday: Mitt Romney said his chief rival, Newt Gingrich shouldn’t “whine” about being the target of negative campaigning, The Boston Globe reported. In a Tampa news conference, Romney said he had simply been fighting back against the barrage of negative attacks coming from Gingrich’s camp. “If you attack me, I’m not going to just sit back,” Romney told reporters. The additive has recently come under fire. Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver campaigned against the use of the filler, which some food experts call pink slime. McDonald’s says the decision to stop using the additive due to a focus on food safety. Read more here.

Happy Tuesday POU family! Check out the links and come back to discuss. Now for today’s Tuesday Trivia….

What 1983 quiet storm classic is Outkast sampling in their 2003 single, “Ghettomusick”?

To get a pass from the “bad chair/Lay-Z-Boy/sofa/sectional/lounge” you must provide the song title and artist first (without using “teh Google” or “teh Wiki”). If no one is able to guess the correct answer by 9:00pm EST, I am keeping the pass for myself.

Can’t recall the answer? Take a listen and see if you can figure it out…
