J-O-B-S Jobs, Bishes! News: The U.S. labor market made modest gains in November as private employers continued to add jobs and the unemployment rate fell to its lowest level since March 2009. Nonfarm payrolls rose by 120,000 last month, the Labor Department said Friday. We’re Finally Starting To Make A Dolla Holla News: The dollar is rising against the euro after the U.S. government said the unemployment rate dropped to its lowest level in 2½ years. The Labor Department said the unemployment rate fell to 8.6 percent in November, the lowest since March 2009. The country added 120,000 jobs in November, a sign that the economy is slowly recovering. Like Father, Like Son…Trifling News: The House Ethics Committee announced today it will continue to investigate whether U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. or an emissary directed or knew of efforts to raise campaign cash for then-Gov. Rod Blagojevich in return for Jackson’s appointment to the Senate in 2008. In making the announcement, the panel released findings from an initial review by another office that found “probable cause” Jackson either directed someone to offer to raise funds in exchange for the seat or knew such an offer would likely be made.
