Hannah Bronfman (born October 26, 1987) is a DJ, model, and entrepreneur from Manhattan. She is the co-founder of Beautified, a mobile app for finding last-minute beauty services. Bronfman is also an investor in multiple restaurants, including Hotel Griffou and Acme.
In 2012, Bronfman co-founded Beautified, a mobile app that allows users to secure last-minute beauty services such as salon, spa, and gym bookings. The app originally covered only New York City, but it expanded to Los Angeles and San Francisco in August 2014. Beautified’s expansion coincided with an announcement that it had raised $1.2 million in seed funding.
The entrepreneur has been successful in many things, and that includes giving women the tea on health, beauty, and fitness. She was featured in the fashion documentary This is My Reality in 2013. She was a featured model at DKNY’s Fall 2014 Fashion Show and walked the runway. It was her first appearance on a runway.
She is a member of the Lehman family via her paternal grandmother, Ann Loeb Bronfman. Bronfman’s parents are former Warner Music Group CEO Edgar Bronfman Jr. and Shaft actress Sherry Brewer. Her brother is entrepreneur and musician Benjamin Bronfman. Her husband is New York City DJ and Theophilus London manager Brendan Fallis. Her mother is African American and her father is Jewish Canadian.
She graduated from Bard College in December 2010 with a degree in sculpture. On August 17, 2015, she got engaged to her long time boyfriend, Brendan Fallis. On May 20, 2017, the couple married in Marrakech, Morocco.
Darrin Dewitt Henson (born May 5, 1972) is an American choreographer, dancer, actor, director, and producer, best known for his instructional dance video Darrin’s Dance Grooves (which was heavily marketed in 2001 and 2002), and for his portrayal of ex-convict Lem Van Adams on the Showtime TV series Soul Food, which is the longest-running drama with a predominantly African-American cast in television history. Henson attended “Prep For Prep”, a non-profit organization based on prepping NYC’s top colored students.
Henson also starred in productions such as the motion picture Stomp the Yard. In 2003, Henson directed the film Violation. He has choreographed music videos and concerts for such popular music artists as New Kids on the Block, Jordan Knight, Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees, NSYNC and Spice Girls.
Though he is most famous for his role as Lem Van Adams on Showtime’s “Soul Food,” Darrin DeWitt Henson is also an MTV-award winning choreographer that has worked with the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Usher and Justin Timberlake. His mission has been demonstrating to people that dance can be an excellent form of exercise—in 2005, he released Darrin’s Dance Grooves, which has sold over 3 million copies. Volume 2 of Darrin’s Dance Grooves was released in 2007. In October 2010, he released Get Fit & Stay Fit with Darrin Henson, a new health and fitness DVD.
