Have You Seen This Precious Little Girl? News: The investigation into the disappearance of 2-year-old Bianca Jones concentrated today on the girl’s father as police searched his home. Detroit police confirmed that D’Andre Lane’s home was being searched today. “It’s unknown if that search is complete,” said Detroit police spokesman Phillip Cook. Bianca’s father claimed he was carjacked at gunpoint Friday while his daughter was in the back seat. Thirty minutes later, Lane’s gray Grand Marquis was found six blocks away in an alley with the door open and the engine running. But Bianca wasn’t inside. Sources tell ABC News affiliate WXYZ-TV in Detroit that Lane failed a polygraph test on Friday. Detroit police would not confirm that information. Read more here.

S-H-O-P, Shop Til You Drop Bishes! News: Cyber Monday was the heaviest online spending day ever. Cyber Week brought in $6 billion — a record. And there were three days that week that eclipsed a billion dollars in spending. Bottom line: The online holiday shopping season has been a success so far. Acccording to comScore, a site that tracks online spending, the week that began with Cyber Monday saw a 15% spike in sales, from $5.1 billion last year to almost $6 billion this year. And in the first 32 days of the November to December shopping season, $18.7 billion had already been spent online, with Cyber Monday itself bringing in $1.25 billion. Read more here.
The GOP Debate Becomes Celebrity Apprentice News: Republican presidential contender Newt Gingrich paid a courtesy call Monday on real estate magnate Donald Trump in what has become an obligatory stop for GOP hopefuls in 2012. After their late morning meeting, Gingrich said he and Trump discussed ways of creating jobs for poor children, an issue that got the candidate in some hot water last week when he suggested that poor kids have no working role models except those that are “illegal.” Gingrich said he asked host of the reality show Apprentice to offer apprenticeships to 10 children in the poorest schools in the city. I Guess Some People Are Starting To Understand That Mid-Term Elections Have Consequences News: Going into the holiday season, tens of thousands of Ohioans are unsure of whether emergency jobless benefits meant to help them weather the recession will be around come New Years. Nearly 77,000 jobless Ohioans draw federal unemployment benefits, and more than a quarter of those rely on the benefits to pay their mortgages, utility bills and grocery bills, The Columbus Dispatch reported. Unless Congress funds another extension, those Ohioans will lose them in early January. Read more here.
