I reluctantly listened to Ed Schultz today spewing some old BS about the Obama administration not helping in the recall. Schultz and his PL buddies take no responsibility for their actions. I had to chuckle at the callers complaining to Ed about the admin not helping them out. These are the same callers that complained about the president and were proud to say they would not vote. I know because I heard their simple BS on the Schultz show during the midterms.

Funny how white folks are not held to the same standards as black folks. You know now we were blamed for prop 8 but the poutrage crowd is not blamed for not voting and handing over power to the tea party freaks. Funny how that works.

The Black Church Ain’t Shook Comments of the Week

Some are trying, they’re trying hard….but contrary to how the media tries to spin it, the 5 black republicans they can drag on TV try to spin it, the 4 black pastors that want some media shine try to spin it…guess what. Didn’t work.

I know a lot of churchified folks. Hell, my sister’s married to a pastor. And none of these church folk I’ve talked to have said that POTUS has lost their vote. Not one. Even if they don’t agree with his stance on SSM, they’re far more worried about their jobs and putting food on the table. Unlike white church folk, black church folk don’t vote on social wedge issues like that. They may not agree with it, but they’ve got bigger fish to fry than worrying about if Jim and John wanna get married.

The fetishizing of black churches and hyper-focus on what black people think about SSM is simply racist; it just is. With all of the screaming and fuss from the media, one would think that white America has united for SSM (they haven’t) while black America has united in opposition to SSM (and we haven’t).

It’s racist bullshit, and I’m especially sick and tired of seeing black people cosigning it. We’re so used to being subject to double standards, we don’t even blink an eye any more.

Romney’s campaign manager actually said in reply to a foreign policy question that the GOP nominee didn’t want to engage in any foreign policy discussions until after he is in office…really.
