For the week September 11 – September 17
Yes we will……do not get it twisted.
This week has been particularly tiring and draining. The emoprogs and Professional Left nitwits have gone into overdrive with the crazy…to the point they are upstaging their teathuglican counterparts to the right. It is simply bizarre…well, it is if you’re naive…otherwise, you know exactly what their issue is. But regardless, we shall prevail. Now on to the comments.
The cheapening of 9-11 is sick Comment of the Week
itgurl_29, Sunday Open Thread
9/11 has become a “holiday” for white republican. I don’t celebrate it because it’s bullshit. It’s not about the people who were killed and the pain of the families and friends left behind. It’s one day out of the year for them to play politics and little by little, rewrite history for George Bush and the media, who failed to hold him accountable. That’s all it’s about. And that’s why I ain’t watched nan coverage on it.The people who are interviewed every 9/11 are always white. They’re always upper class and they’re usually republicans. This happens every year. They never talk to people of color who lost loved ones. They never talk to non Christians. They never talk to gays or lesbians who lost partners. No, it’s always upper class white conservative families that are in all these interviews and specials and ceremonies.
I feel for those who lost their lives in this tragedy and I feel for those who survived their loved ones. But I could give a damn about “commemorating” 9/11 cause that ain’t even what it’s about anymore. And secondly, it’s been 10 years. It’s time for the country to freakin’ move forward. Not forget, but move forward.
If I could like this 1,000 times I would because it’s the God’s honest truth. It’s way past time to move on from this. I think what sticks in my craw more than anything is how the US acts like they’re the only country in the history of EVER that this happened to in terms of destruction and loss of life. Hiroshima and Nagasaki? London got blown to kingdom come on a nightly basis for the better part of 5 years during WWII. How about Baghdad? These places remember their dead and the destruction of their cities, but they manage to do so with the solemnity and the dignity that is called for. We treat our remembrance like a national holiday. How many years will it be before we start seeing 9/11 sales?
I know this makes me sound like I’m anti-remembrance of any kind. I’m not, it just needs to be dialed down considerably from the orgy of self-pity it has become. If that makes me an unpatriotic, unfeeling, coldhearted bitch then oh well.
Thanks y’all for indulging me. This has been festering for awhile and I had to let it out.
I dont even know what to say about this article right here. People literally so full of shit they will attempt to justify why they disapprove of the President while acknowledging he saved their livelihood. WTF?!?! Its just insane. Geesh.
So we give you the “You sorry azz muthasuckas so freaking stupid and racist to your core you will gladly open your mouth to prove your stupidity and racist azzes” Comments of the Week

This is bullshit. We all know why Mr. Smith feels free to say it’s something the government had to do; because he’s not sitting on his ass out of work since the Republicans didn’t get their way. Now that he’s okay, he’s not going to support the black man that saved him.Reminds me of Trumka’s big speech to union workers on why they needed to get over the racism and vote for Obama. The fact that the President is facing this much racial animosity; in the face of his clear successes and the simple fact that he saved these people’s livelihoods is why I’m so angry at the Smileys and Wests of the world.
To me 2012 is a black and white issue; you’re either going to fight against the white privilege that allows Mitt Romney to gain the vote of a man whose livelihood he advocated destroying or you’re going to help them keep a qualified black man down and make the next black or brown man or woman to lead this country’s job that much harder.
Our President is too good for these people. White people need to suffer. Allow them to see the end result of their racial hatred. Let them feel the pain of their extreme choices. President Obama is one of the most moral and religious men I have ever seen. He does exactly as the word says, loving others who hate him. He is a much better human than I. And a much better person than I will ever be.I say let them suffer and cry and pray for help and when folks explain to the suffering that the help came but you rejected it let them cry some more…

The MI folks kill me (thinking to the poll released this week): The President SAVED their state and it’s on the upswing thanks to the actions HE took. This would have devastated them; and yet he can’t get any credit for saving this state.White Privilege.
When you say you will vote for a man who advocated against your livelihood over the man who saved it; don’t tell me race isn’t involved.
You reall need to seek some help dude Comment of the Week
It’s past ridiculous. Black people need to be done with his ass. I was done with him during the campaign where he constantly bashed Obama. But many of us still gave him the benefit of the doubt. That should be over now. This is an individual who is now consumed with hatred for President Obama. So much so that now the only place he can go and be listened to is on a racist network with a racist host.Tavis is done. No more chances for him. He HATES black people. And he hates POTUS because POTUS loves black people and we feel that love. And he lets our children know that they can be anything they want to be. And Tavis HATES that.

Tavis is shuffling harder than a Kia Soul Hamster, since I’m quite sure after Tom Joyner & Steve Harvey put him on blast and Dyson jumped off his Hate Obama train that doors are getting slammed in his face left and right. Tavis can’t be the leader of Black Folks™ if black folks won’t talk to him.

I can’t bring myself to watch that clip. And while I’m usually skeptical of internet psychoanalysis, it’s time to discuss Tavis’ painfully apparent deep sense of inadequacy that drives his criticism of President Obama. Tavis grew up in a trailer home with his mother, stepfather, and twelve siblings and cousins. I remember hearing him (on a radio interview a long time ago) describe his stepfather beating him and his sister so bad they were hospitalized.Tavis seemed to aspire to achieve academically, but never did. According to Wikipedia, in his senior undergraduate year, “…he failed a test in a computer class after being accused of copying another student’s [work], so he failed that class and several others and lacked nine hours of credits and thus did not graduate from IU.” Also, he took the LSAT twice, as he was considering attending Harvard Law School, but that didn’t work out. Whereas our president made it to Harvard and made incredible achievements.
Tavis seems to see President Obama as standing in the place that Tavis wishes he could be. His anger is clearly destroying him. President Obama overcame his life challenges by honest self-reflection and hard work on behalf of the greater good. Tavis works hard at self-promotion, which only feeds the emptiness he feels inside. If he weren’t so destructive, he’d be pitiable.
