The National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame Foundation, Inc., (Hall of Fame) hosts an Annual Competition of Black College Gospel Choirs Competition.
Designed to showcase the musical talents of gospel choirs from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) from all over the country, the competition is hosted by legendary gospel music pioneer, Dr. Bobby Jones.

“If you have never experienced the pure energy and excitement of a HBCU gospel choir, you are certainly in for a treat,” said Thomas W. Dortch, Jr., Founder and Chairman of the Hall of Fame Foundation. “This will be a grand gospel explosion.”

The 2012 winner of the competition was Benedict College. Here is a video of their actual performance in 2009. If this is what the gospel choir will do, I’d love to see a performance of their marching band! (video starts out a little wobbly but quickly gets better)
