The LAPD Is Too Violent? Really? Gee..I Guess I Missed That News: Los Angeles police are being praised for their planning, outreach and judicious use of force in ousting the Occupy L.A. encampment Wednesday morning, but a few protesters are reporting more physical confrontations with some of the 1,400 officers. In a KCAL 9 video, now posted on YouTube, Tyson Heder, 25, was taking pictures of the eviction, when a police officer shoved him away. The video showed Heder then standing up, yelling at the officer, then being forced to the ground by several policemen. His sister, Christy Collins, said Heder was in custody Wednesday morning. J-O-B-S Jobs, Bishes! News: Private-business hiring jumped in November, according to a report released Wednesday. Separately, the productivity of U.S. workers in the third quarter was less than initially reported, reinforcing the view that economic growth in that period wasn’t as robust as first thought. Private-sector jobs in the U.S. rose by 206,000, according to a national employment report published by payroll giant Automatic Data Processing Inc. and consultancy Macroeconomic Advisers. Economists surveyed by Dow Jones Newswires expected ADP would report an increase of 130,000. The October data were revised to show a rise of 130,000 versus 110,000 reported earlier. “The increase in November was the largest monthly gain since last December and nearly twice the average monthly gain since May when employment decelerated sharply,” the report said.
