Def By Temptation
Def by Temptation is a 1990 American horror film written, produced, and directed by James Bond III and stars Bond, Kadeem Hardison, Samuel L. Jackson, and Bill Nunn.
The story is set in New York City and revolves around the relationship between two childhood best friends: “Joel”, who is raised by his religious grandmother after both of his parents are killed, and “K” who abandons his religious upbringing and moves to New York to become a movie star. The story opens as Joel (now a minister like his deceased father), becomes somewhat disillusioned with Christianity and decides to take a trip to New York to visit his friend, K. While awaiting Joel’s arrival, K (played by Kadeem Hardison) visits the local bar and meets the perfect woman (played by Cynthia Bond)–who, in reality, is a succubus seeking blood and vengeance against any and all men foolish enough to be tempted by her.

Vampire In Brooklyn
Eddie Murphy, Charlie Murphy, Wes Craven, Vernon Lynch and a very interesting wig teamed up to create this comedy-horror. In Vampire in Brooklyn, Maximillian (Eddie Murphy) arrives in Brooklyn, intent on locating Rita (Angela Bassett).
Rita is a dhampir—a half-vampire half-human—who is the key to salvaging Maximillian’s doomed vampire clan. Unbeknownst to Rita, she is the last known descendant of the Caribbean vampire-tribe, which outside of her and Maximillian, is extinct. As Max tracks her down, murdering as he goes, Rita, who incidentally is a NYPD detective, investigates the deaths of Max’s victims. When she finally learns who she really is, Rita must decide which part of herself she will remain true to: her human half, or the vampire heritage in her blood.

Bones
Bones is a 2001 American horror film directed by Ernest Dickerson and starring rapper Snoop Dogg as the eponymous Jimmy Bones, a murdered gangster that rises from the grave to avenge his death. The movie is an homage to blaxploitation films of the 1970s and incorporates numerous elements from the genre.
Jimmy Bones is the stylish protector of a thriving inner-city neighborhood in 1979. When he refuses to knuckle under to powerful interests bent on introducing crack cocaine into his turf, Bones is betrayed by some of his own people, murdered, and buried in the basement of his gothic home. More than two decades later, the neighborhood is a drug and crime-infested nightmare, and Bones’ decrepit, allegedly haunted domicile is about to become a hip-hop dance club. Although Bones’ one-time girlfriend, Pearl (Pam Grier), and his right-hand man, Shotgun (Ronald Selmour), have remained loyal to his memory, the children of his traitor, Jeremiah (Clifton Powell), are the principal owners of the new club. They become the primary targets when Bones’ vengeful spirit rises up to exact bloody retribution for past misdeeds.
